KitchenAid Stand Mixer
Say hello to a wedding registry staple! I’ve had my eyes on this stunning KitchenAid stand mixer for years. I’m smitten with the blue-green color approved by interior design queen Joanna Gaines. This 10-speed mixer is ideal for kneading dough, mixing batter, whipping egg whites—you name it. Plus, it offers the brand’s unbeatable craftsmanship and power.
Ooni Pizza Oven
Sure, it’s a bit of a splurge, but no 2023 wedding registry is complete without the oh-so-trendy Ooni pizza oven. This generously-sized outdoor appliance will be the cornerstone of your backyard get-togethers. Not only does it cook fresh, homemade ‘zas in just 60 seconds, it reaches temperatures up to 950 degrees for an authentic, restaurant-worthy taste. Need more convincing? Read our Ooni pizza oven review.
Solo Stove Fire Pit
A slightly more nontraditional pick, the Solo Stove fire pit is ideal for couples who already have most of the traditional wedding registry staples. It’s perfect for outdoorsy couples and new homeowners alike. Personally, I can’t wait to roast marshmallows, host beach cookouts and just cozy up around the (smokeless!) fire. HexClad Kitchen Knives
My partner and I have been together for years, so our registry includes upgrades to staples we already own. One of the most versatile updates? This stunning magnetic knife set. The mix of a chef’s, bread, santoku, utility and paring knife, plus a honing steel and magnetic organizing block, ensure we have everything we need to cook together. We will use this bundle every. single. day. As an added bonus, HexClad is endorsed by one of our favorite celebrity chefs, Gordon Ramsay. (And yes, we have HexClad cookware on the registry, too.)
Caraway Bakeware Set
Another upgrade? Trading in our mismatched baking gear for a pretty, cohesive set. Caraway bakeware offers it all, including two baking sheets, a muffin tin, 13×9 pan, 9×9 square pan, loaf pan, cooling rack and two 9-inch cake rounds. My favorite part, however, is the set of two storage containers that will take our cupboard from “jumbled mess” to “sleek and styled.” The only hard part is choosing one of nine stunning colors. Read our Caraway bakeware review for the full scoop.
Boll & Branch Duvet Insert
Are you sensing a theme, yet? This classic registry pick is an essential upgrade from the bedding that’s been around for longer than our relationship. A classic duvet insert, like this beauty from Boll & Branch, is the secret to sweet dreams. If you live in a temperamental climate (hello, Wisconsin!) consider registering for a variety of densities to ensure you stay cozy in every season.
Brooklinen Bath Towels
Bath towels are out, bath sheets are in. These extra-large and extra-plush driers make your daily routine feel luxurious. This towel bundle from Brooklinen, which includes two bath sheets and two hand towels, is a registry must.
Simplehuman Trash Can
I’m hopeful that this dual-compartment smart trash can from Simplehuman is the last one we ever buy. I love the voice and motion sensors that skip the lid fumbling when your hands are full of potato peels. And the separate recycling container will make trash day a breeze. While not the most exciting or fun registry pick, a touchless trash can is one you’ll thank yourself for later.
Amaranth Vase
Fresh-cut flowers are one of life’s simplest luxuries, and I strive to keep my blooms fresh for as long as possible. Enter: the Amaranth vase. This genius contraption makes trimming flower stems and changing out dirty water a breeze. Instead of removing the entire bouquet, you can simply twist the vase apart! I look forward to using this vase for my wedding bouquet, anniversary gifts and beyond! One of our editors tried the Amaranth vase—and loves it!
“Nessie” Ladle Set
Yes, your wedding registry should be full of household essentials. But it should also reflect your personality as a couple. My partner and I are obsessed with quirky kitchen gear, so this loch ness-monster kitchen tools set was a must add. I know we’ll share a laugh every time the nessie ladle serves up a pot of soup.
Williams Sonoma Marble Cake Stand
I love to bake, so a sleek cake stand is a must. This marble version from Williams Sonoma is so neutral we can use it for holidays, family birthdays and every celebration in between. Speaking of cake, check out these adorable wedding cake toppers.
Epicurean Pizza Peel and Chopper
Remember that aforementioned pizza oven? Well, you’ll need a few tools to go with it! This peel and chopper set is the perfect bundle for bustling outdoor pizza feasts and rushed frozen pizza nights alike.
Haden Dorset Kettle
My partner is a budding barista. He loves experimenting with espresso, French press, pour-over—you name it. That’s why this Haden Dorset electric kettle made the list. He loves the easy-to-read temperature gauge and water filter for perfect coffee every morning, and I love the sleek finish (my favorite is the black and copper color combo).
Breville Bread Maker
The 90s called, and yep, bread makers are trendy again. I love this Breville bread maker for its four loaf sizes, fruit and nut dispenser and sleek stainless steel finish. It’s one of our favorite Amazon registry items.
KitchenAid 9-Cup Food Processor
Our current kitchen is very mis-matched, so our registry is full of coordinating pieces. Not only is this mega KitchenAid food processor functional, but it comes in the same dreamy Magnolia blue-green hue as the stand mixer at the top of this list.
Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker
Some of my and my partner’s fondest memories revolve around ice cream. Whether it’s recreating a date night at our college’s local custard haunt or dreaming of Disneyland Dole whip, we’re sure to give this Cuisinart ice cream maker a workout.
Le Creuset Baking Dishes
One of the things I’m most looking forward to as newlyweds? Hosting the holidays. This 3-piece baking dish set from Le Creuset is up for any task, whether it’s holding a vat of Thanksgiving stuffing or my family’s coveted brandy carrot recipe at Christmas. Artichaut is my color of choice, but there are so many beautiful hues to choose from. (It’s no secret Le Creuset makes some of the prettiest cookware around!)
Dyson V11 Vacuum Cleaner
Spoiler: I actually already own this vacuum cleaner. But if I didn’t it would be on our wedding registry without a second thought. The Dyson V11 cordless vacuum cleaner makes a tedious chore, dare I say, fun. It sucks up hair, crumbs, dust bunnies and dirt with ease, and the cordless function ensures I can reach every nook and cranny of our home. Read up on my full Dyson V11 review to see what makes this pick so special.
Nest Smart Thermostat
“Alexa, turn up the heat!” I love that the Nest smart thermostat will make it easy to keep our home at a comfortable temperature—and save on heating costs. Plus, installation takes 30 minutes or less!
ThermoWorks Instant Thermometer
We used our cheap-y meat thermometer on the daily…until it broke! The Thermapen One, which comes highly recommended by the Taste of Home Test Kitchen, will likely be the last one we ever buy. It offers accurate readings in a mere second and comes with a trusty five-year warranty.
